Strategic Marketing Group – call for members
IMSTA’s Board and Executive participated in a strategy workshop recently facilitated by Athena Life Sciences Consultancy. This dynamic session looked at our history over the past 10 years or so, what we learnt along the way, where we are at now and more importantly where to from here – what role can we play as an industry trade association in the future? What role do we want to play?
Our challenge will be to keep all members satisfied and engaged in an increasingly diverse health technology market and to integrate the various member sector specific groups.
Broadening our remit to include diagnostics, devices and digital has raise IMSTA’s profile significantly and grown our reputation.
One of the enabling pillars will be to involve IMSTA members in the decision-making process around communications, both internal and external. What do we have to say and to whom?
IMSTA’s Board has agreed to set up a Strategic Marketing Group populated by marketing professionals from our member companies, led by three board representatives and supported by our executive. The group will initially agree outline proposals for a Membership Communications Plan, an External Stakeholder Communications Plan and what marketing activities would best serve the needs of our members going forward e.g. member events.
The communications strategy for the above will be developed with the help of The Communications Clinic.
The Strategic Marketing Group will also look in a redesign of the IMSTA website and explore any rebranding implications / opportunity.
